Black Sparrow opened in Camberwell in 2016 and now works from a private room in Berwick. A quiet space for slow, considered work — by appointment only.
Philosophy
We think of tattooing as a craft, not a transaction. Every artist here works to their own voice, on their own schedule, with their own clients.
There is no rush. Consultations happen in person. Designs are drawn for one body. Sessions are paced to the work, not the clock.
If you're looking for flash, walk-ins, or fast turnaround — there are great studios for that. If you're looking for something considered, you're in the right place.
Safe & clean
The studio is fully compliant with local council and Victorian health department regulations for skin penetration. Every needle, tube, cartridge and ink cap is single-use.
